Silver Oak’s farm store is open 10 AM to 4 PM on the last Saturday and Sunday of every month from May thru November, with additional hours during the holidays and by appointment. We offer a wonderful assortment of farm-grown yarns, alpaca apparel, accessories, and toys. Come browse in our shop and allow a little extra time to view the gentle alpacas.

We enjoy having visitors to our farm and would be happy to e-mail directions specific to your approach. But, if you can find the center of Ashby on your own, this is how you should proceed:

1) Head west on Rt. 119 from Ashby center (town common with gazebo on the right and Ashby Market on the left) and make a right (North) at the fork onto West Rd., which is the first right after the Mobil Gas Station (on left) and the Ashby Fire Department (on right) – this right is marked “to Rt. 123A” and has a small, unofficial sign saying “West Rd.”

2) Continue on West Rd. another 2.1 miles, where West Rd. makes a right – this is marked “West Rd.” on a sign on a phone pole on the left at the turn (there will be a yellow farmhouse on the left just after you make the turn) – this is the third right after getting onto West Rd.

3) Follow West Rd. another 0.2 miles to Silver Oak Farm‘s driveway on the left, just after passing by the pond on the left; it’s a white farmhouse with a covered, front porch and green shutters – the numbers “1258” and a black alpaca cut-out are on the mailbox.
